The View from Taiwan is simply the best blog about Taiwan, despite a recent decrease in content.

  2. Michael Turton Says:

I’d like to nominate Wandering to Tamshui and Scott Sommers’ Taiwan weblog. And David at Jujuflop. And Mark Harrison’s Blog, Bourdieu Boy, The Foreigner in Formosa, and Suitcasing. Probably I’ll nominate more later. There are lots of great blogs on Taiwan now, even though it seems at the moment everyone is in a lull.

Speaking of Taiwan, your blogroll could use an update. A better tomorrow is gone and Betel nut blogger stopped posting last summer. Islaformosa stopped posting a while back too. One blog is on there twice. And lots of great blogs aren’t there.

    Michael

I rate Doubting to Shou very highly. http://www.toshuo.com

I agree with the first poster, The View from Taiwan is hands down, the very best blog in Taiwan. Michael Turton’s knowledge of the political scene, the education system, chinese language and culture, business, Taiwan/china/us relationships, etc. is really unmatched. He is an valuable asset to Taiwan. http://michaelturton.blogspot.com/

  5. Mark Says:

I like Li Xi Bao, at http://www.lixibao.com/.
