tender: seeking site hosting, setup and design

AsiaPundiit pays money to SixApart to host this blog on the TypePad
service. AP assumed that paying for a ‘premium’ service would mean that
it would be better and more error free than Blogspot and other services
he has used or tried. It’s not. It’s worse.
On top of the widely reported downtime, more mundane failures are
constant, loading is slow and SixApart does not in any way deliver as
promised. The below post should, for instance, have had three graphics upon posting, but
the service was unable to upload for several hours - either through Ecto or through the
web-based platform (with or without use of a proxy).
AsiaPundit could be getting better and more
reliable service for free. Simply put, TypePad is a waste of time and money.
For bidders, in terms of software, Wordpress sounds nice. Moveable Type is only
acceptable if TypePad is willing to offer a free version as
compensation.
AP is now seeking a new host, plus someone to manage the transfer of existing posts and possibly a new design.
Bid now.
