Brunei Resources blog has been an inspiration to me ever since I came across it 3 months ago. The contents are both informative and it pictures a different view of Brunei, as I know it. I think the attraction is more towards the blogger being a civil servant of an absolute monarchist kingdom who (not the blogger in particular) treats the ruler as a demi-god which puts the ruler ahead of the people rather than the other way around.
BruRes blogs allows me to understand his thoughts and opinions on subjects that trigger debate and perhaps to provide some useful insights on the mechanics of the Brunei Govt. It is a love-hate relationship and I would like to nominate Brunei Resources for the Asian – Best of the Rest Awards, for providing me with a reason to blog.
